Let's Bring the Values to Life!
A London based painter and decorator was frustrated travelling out of London to multiple stores to pick up his building and decorating materials. 100 yards from Edgware Road station, Leyland SDM was born.
Store number 2 on our journey. Sandwiched between Vauxhall bridge and Victoria station, a busy store in the heart of SW1V.
Not far from Golders Green tube station we found a small terraced shop in the affluent area of Childs Hill. Over time we knocked through both to the left and right to keep up with the demand of our local customers.
We arrived in EC1M and have not looked back. The store has gone through a vibrant refurb in 2020 courtesy of our Merchandising team.
On the luxurious Kings Road, we serve regularly upwards of 500 trade and retail customers a day! Apparently, Robbie Williams is a regular favourite for the Chelsea team and store!
Three stone throws from Kensington Olympia tube station is our busy in the week and at the weekend Kensington store. A favourite amongst local retail customers.
The trendy Camden Town was a great location to expand further. NW1 has been loving it's local DIY and decorating specialists supplier ever since.
In the heart of the West End this store is by the glitz and glamour; restaurants, theatres and plenty of people, we increased the size of this store in 2019.
Round the corner from Ealing Broadway tube station we have a strong regular customer base in the hustling and bustling high street
The most central store in London (Shaftesbury Avenue will continue this argument!) Quaint and quirky with a loyal student customer base.
Previously the home to our Support Centre & Warehouse above the shop, Regeneration in the area has seen our store grow and grow. Rumours have it Game of Thrones favourite Maisie Williams has shopped in this store!
Across the road from West Brompton tube station is our petite yet busy and bustling store and team.
We headed back to EC following great success in this part of London. The trendy locals can't get enough of our service on the busy A10 junction.
With borough market on the doorstep, this busy pocket of London welcomed us with open arms. Previously a tea museum this is the only store to have a secluded, secret garden. Summer lunchtimes must be nice!
With Chelsea and Earls Court already open, opening another store so close would be crazy, right? Wrong! Both trade & retail customers flock to the peak of the North End road 7 days a week for their decorating & DIY needs.
The highly reputable high street of Chiswick turned Blue in 2010 (Not literally). A strong retail customer following in particular, we've built a great reputation with the local community.
Another opportunity, another store - a short 150 yard burst from Notting Hill Gate tube station this store continues to grow and see familiar faces everyday.
A return to East London and the furthest store outside of EC, home to our Store Manager of the year 2020!
Between the leafy and green Clapham Common and Clapham High Street station, one of the great success stories in the last few years in the business, and rightfully being crowned store team of the year 2019.
Previously a bank in the centre of Putney high street, we have adjusted to the space amazingly and is now one of our busiest weekend stores. In 2020, The team were nominated and crowned store team of the year in our annual awards.
Acquires Leyland SDM
Purchased for a cool £82.4 million, a new dawn was upon us. The highly successful Grafton Group recognised the potential of the brand and we became part of the Grafton family.
That was until a great unit was located across the road form Streatham Hill station! Another store on another busy, bustling high street.
Is it Middlesex, is it in London, is it in Surrey? That debate will rage on. Our newest store opening and a stunning shopping experience awaits everyone that walks in.
