Our Finance function is split across our Wembley and Acton offices and we have created an exciting new role to lead our Credit Control team.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director you will lead, develop, support and empower our fast-paced credit control team, which currently consists of 5 colleagues, ensuring the team are meeting and achieving targets and objectives while being hands on with managing a small portfolio of key accounts. This person will lead the way in identifying and delivering process improvements in the credit control team and be involved in wider Finance activity and process improvements.

Review team members behaviours and performance, ensuring these are line with our Vision and Values
Set and review annual individual objectives, conducting quarterly reviews with each member of the team
Identify development opportunities and ensuring this is visible in the team
Process Improvements & reporting
Review, Identify and deliver Credit Control process improvements that will benefit the function and wider business
Support the Finance Manager & Finance Director with identifying process improvements in the Finance function as a whole
Provide reports and statistics to the Finance Director on a weekly/monthly basis
Key Account Management and other accountabilities
Calculate bad debt provision and recommending write offs where appropriate
Maintain relationships and small portfolio of the top 50 key customers,to ensure smooth running of the accounts
Ensure the credit risk is managed appropriately in line with company policy, Managing these key customer accounts and setting appropriate credit limits
Maximise cash collection and improve working capital whilst reducing aged and doubtful debts
Represent the business in legal matters and court attendances
Ensure opening of new customer accounts are meeting expectations of the business and is a great impression for the customer
