Reporting to the Commercial Director, you’ll be working closely stakeholders from across the business to lead on defining and delivering a new reporting suite for the Category Management & wider commercial function.
Delivery of a Comprehensive Reporting Suite
Timely production of reporting that is accurate and valued by users and stakeholders
Manage of the reporting lifecycle including data extraction, cleansing, transformation, reporting and reconciliation
Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and users to define KPIs and reporting needs
Work with IT Partners to best utilise existing Microsoft Dynamics AX reports, and if required, raise change control requests to deliver technical enhancements to facilitate improved reporting to stakeholders/users
Ensure that solutions, processes and procedures for reporting production are clearly documented and subject to version control as reporting in enhanced
Constantly revaluate reporting to identify improvements that support the category objectives of improving category profitability and support achieving best in class customer availability
Producing Insight to Improve Category Profitability
Manipulating, extracting, and interpreting complex unstructured data sets to spot anomalies, patterns, trends and provide insights within large data sets
Engage with users and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and identify root causes
Business Data Subject Matter Expert
Perform detailed analysis on data quality levels held within the AX/EPOS systems
Support business initiatives/projects proving insight, or reporting
What key skills and experiences are we looking for?
Knowledge of how to develop a full reporting suite from defining stakeholder requirements, developing the relevant specification, and building and maintaining the reporting suite
Experience of working to reconcile data from large disparate data sets
Adept at working with different stakeholders with the ability to define reporting requirements based on different audience needs
Ability to complete tasks from start to finish without an SOP
Advanced Excel skills (inc. Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting) with a flair for creativity presenting complex data sets in simple ways to users
Ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and work independently
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
Detailed understanding of Power BI
