Our HR team are essential to everything people related from colleague engagement, performance and talent management to health and safety. We have landed a number of exciting projects over the last 12 months that have had a hugely beneficial to the business in areas such as an internal communication platform, training and development & reward & benefits.

This role will be supporting our Area Manager in the South, working closely with our Store Management teams across 15 stores in driving and leading strategic HR improvements, projects and day to day business as usual activity. You will also be partnering with a number of our support centre functions in the same fashion.

Wellbeing, sustainability, diversity & inclusion will be key areas you will be involved with, a focus for the HR function in 2021.

What is the HR Business Partner accountable for?

  • Lead key HR projects, working with colleagues from across the business to land initiatives

  • Support & coach store management teams with performance management, team & area succession, disciplinary matters, ensuring HR policies are being followed

  • Health & Safety champion for the area – we are working on a store safety project currently to revamp what Elearning and H&S awareness looks like in the business

  • Work closely with our other HR Business Partner, aligning to deliver consistency across the business

  • Support the HR Director in developing new policies, processes and ways of working

What experiences are we looking for?

We are a fast moving business and you will be comfortable 'spinning multiple plates'. You will have experience delivering HR projects and initiatives and a great track record of developing and coaching others in the world of HR policies and process.
